Police Youth Dance - K9 Fundraiser

The Mayville Police Department hosts several youth dances throughout the year. This program was originally created to provide funding for the department's K9 program, allowing the K9 Unit to operate without tax payer dollars. Since the passing our first K9 dog "Frankie", the police department has continued the dances as a way to provide a safe environment for our youth to socialize and have a good time. Proceeds from the dances go towards the continuation of the MPD K9 Unit program. This includes training and care for the current MPD K9, "Boja".

Each dance is chaperoned by police staff and citizen volunteers. A DJ is on hand to provide the lastest music and our consession stand is always stocked.

For questions about our youth dance, contact: Officer Kirsten Birch by phone at 920-387-7903 ext. 1308 or email at kbirch@mayvillecity.com
